It’s Time For The 1st of the Year Ole’ Saturday Homesteading Trading Post Blog Link Up

It’s time for The Ole’ Saturday Homesteading Trading Post again its the 1st one of the new year.  I have lots of goals this year to grow more vegetables that make sense with where we live in Coastal North Carolina.   I am hoping that the Viking in my life and I will finally get our irrigation system installed I would really like a drip system personally.  I am working hard to make sure the vegetables and fruit we invest in will grow and prosper in our lovely sandy soil or that we have systems in place that will help them along without too much stress and fuss because even though I am a Suburban Homesteader I also love to go to the movies and the beach in the summer too! 😉   Peppers just grow absolutely beautifully where we live so I am going to branch out a lot with those.  I want you to link up whatever it is you want to share about most likely we will all be interested!  Do you have goals you want to talk about in 2012?  Maybe you have plans for your greenhouse or expanding your homestead or maybe you just want to share your thoughts and musings about this past year……..I look forward to reading whatever you share!

About Lil' Suburban Homestead

We love to garden, raise chickens, cook, read and all in all run my lil' suburban homestead. We have a passion for living sustainably with the earth which can be challenging at times. We recycle, hang our clothes out on the line and raise some of our own food!
